Meet Kinseyy
Hi, I’m Kinsey, a provisionally licensed therapist. My journey as a coach and former athlete fuels my passion for sports counseling, as I understand the unique mental struggles athletes face. Sports and competition can have a major impact on a person’s mental health and well-being. My focus is on enhancing your performance and overall well-being through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. In our work together, you can meet challenges, unlock your potential, and achieve your goals on and off the field. If you struggle with performance anxiety, depression, pre- and post-game stress, lack of motivation, fear of failure, poor focus, loss of identify, body image issues, disordered eating, and anything else that is a psychological barrier to your performance or everyday life, let’s work together to elevate your game and mind!
I work with and support teenagers and young adults through life transitions and provide a safe space for exploration and growth. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with compassionate listening, empowering clients to build healthier relationships and develop effective coping strategies. Being clinically trained in level one of the Gottman Method to couple’s therapy, I specialize in helping couples more effectively communicate, manage anxiety, and stress and work on relationship maintenance. Whether you're facing challenges in your partnership or seeking guidance during a pivotal life change, I can help you find clarity and connection. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and valued and respected. By using motivational techniques to inspire change and resilience we can make you feel understood and empowered.
Let’s explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we can navigate life's challenges and celebrate your unique strengths.
Do the thing you fear most and the death of fear is certain. Mark Twain
