Meet Jake

Hello! I'm Jake

Life can be very challenging, and it’s normal to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward. If you're facing struggles in your relationship, trauma, depression, anxiety, or anything else, please know that you don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can share your feelings and experiences. Together, we can explore your thoughts and emotions while working on building the skills to create meaningful and lasting change in your life. You deserve support and understanding on this journey.

I truly appreciate that each person’s journey is unique, and I approach therapy with a trauma-informed, client-centered mindset to respect your individuality. I strive to create a space that feels safe and supportive for you. Using an eclectic approach, I believe that therapy should reflect who you are, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you discover the strategies that resonate with your strengths and help you move forward on your healing journey.

In addition to working with individuals, I also work with couples navigating challenges in their relationships. Whether you’re dealing with communication issues, trust concerns, or other relational struggles, I help couples develop healthier patterns, strengthen their connection, and work toward a more fulfilling partnership.

With a background in corrections, I’ve worked with individuals facing some of life’s toughest challenges. What drives me as a therapist is seeing people grow, heal, and create a better future for themselves. I truly believe that everyone has the potential for change and deserves to live their best life. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to support you on your journey.

Vulnerability is not winning or losing; its having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; its's our greatest measure of coureage. Brene Brown
